Rust player activity
How to tell when a Rust player is online
Where a player is right now, which hours they usually play, and when their whole squad is offline.
Where this comes from
Every server connected to BattleMetrics records who joined and when they left. Those sessions are public: join time, leave time, server name. Everything else is built from them: the current server, usual hours and a shared schedule for several players.
Times are shown in your zone
The schedule is computed in your browser, in your time zone, and you can switch it. “Plays from 8 pm” means 8 pm for you, not for them.
What you can find out
Where they are now
If the player is online, the report shows which server they are on. If not, it shows where and when they were last seen.
When they usually play
Sessions show which days and hours a player shows up. If there are fewer than five active days, or play is spread across the day with no steady window, we do not invent a habit and say plainly that there is none.
When the whole squad is offline
Add up to eight SteamIDs to recon and it overlays their schedules. You get the hours when nobody is usually online. For a raid, that is the number that matters.
A message when they join
With Pro you can track a player. The Telegram bot tells you when they join a server, leave, switch servers, change their name or get banned. The same events arrive in your Rust+ team chat.
