Terms of Service
The rules for using RustRecon: what the service provides, what you are responsible for, and how paid access works.
General provisions
These Terms govern use of the RustRecon website, account area, the @rustrecon_bot Telegram bot, the “RustRecon - Rust+ Connector” browser extension, and connected Rust+ features provided by the RustRecon project administration.
By opening the service, registering, paying for a service, or accessing materials, you confirm that you have read and fully accept these Terms. If you disagree, stop using RustRecon. Paid services are also governed by the Public Offer.
Digital services and materials
RustRecon provides intangible digital services: analysis and organization of public Rust player information, extended reports, saved squads, event tracking, and configured notifications through the website, Rust+, and Telegram.
Materials may include public information, RustRecon analysis and presentation, and third-party material. The service value lies in organization, analysis, presentation, assistance, support, and updates rather than exclusivity of individual source facts. RustRecon does not promise that individual pieces of information are unavailable outside the service.
Accounts and security
Keep your details current, protect access to your email and account, and report suspicious activity. You may not share paid access or use paid features without payment.
Free access and limits
Without payment, a limited number of checks per day and one full report per account are available; the daily reset is at 00:00 UTC (03:00 Moscow time). Current limits are shown on the Pro page. Limits are counted per account, device, and connection address. Creating extra accounts, clearing browser data, changing addresses, or otherwise circumventing limits is not allowed.
Reports and player data
Reports use identifiers you submit and third-party data. You must use them lawfully and not use the service for harassment, threats, discrimination, publishing private personal data, or violating another person’s rights.
Rust+ and Telegram
By connecting an integration, you confirm that you may link the relevant account or game server. Rust+ depends on Facepunch, the server, and the network; Telegram depends on Telegram. You can disconnect integrations in settings. Never share connection tokens or codes.
The “RustRecon - Rust+ Connector” extension is free on the Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons and is used only to pair Rust+. In-game notifications and Telegram player tracking are Pro features.
Payments and refunds
The plan, access period, included service, total price, and available payment methods are shown before payment is confirmed. A Pro purchase is one-time: automatic renewal and recurring charges are not enabled. Payments are processed by the Platega payment service. Access starts after payment confirmation and lasts for 7, 30, or 365 days depending on the selected plan; if Pro is already active, the new period is added to the remaining one.
After digital access has been delivered and used, an unused part of the period is generally not recalculated. We review refunds for duplicate or incorrect payments, access not delivered because of RustRecon, and other cases required by law. Each request is assessed individually under the Refund Policy.
For the fastest review, contact support within 24 hours after payment with the account email, date, amount, plan, and payment ID. Contact support before asking a bank to reverse the payment or initiating a chargeback; this does not restrict a lawful right to dispute a payment. Price or plan changes apply only to future purchases.
Privacy
RustRecon collects the minimum account identifiers, technical data, and enabled-feature records described in the Privacy Policy. We use reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security for information sent over the internet.
Lawful use
RustRecon is not intended to organize, encourage, or facilitate unlawful activity. You must use the service under applicable law and connected third-party rules and are responsible for the lawfulness of how you apply the materials.
Acceptable use
You may not automate requests outside a provided API, violate technical usage limits, disrupt the service, probe vulnerabilities without written permission, distribute malware, commit fraud, publish illegal content, or attempt to access another person’s data or account.
Disclaimer and responsibility
RustRecon is provided “as is.” We do not promise that it will meet subjective expectations, produce any financial, commercial, professional, or other result, or operate without interruption or error.
Steam, BattleMetrics, public project-ban data sources, Facepunch, and game servers are controlled by third parties. Their data may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. Users make their own decisions about applying reports, and RustRecon should not be the sole basis for high-impact decisions.
To the extent permitted by law, the administration is not liable for indirect loss or lost profit, consequences of a user’s independent use of materials, independent third-party conduct, or temporary technical failures. This does not exclude mandatory service liability or limit non-waivable consumer rights. We address confirmed faults within a reasonable time.
Intellectual property
RustRecon’s interface, code, writing, analytical presentation, and branding are protected by law. You receive a limited right to use the service as intended. Without the rights holder’s permission, protected materials may not be copied, commercially distributed, passed to third parties, or otherwise used outside the provided functionality.
Third-party marks and data remain with their owners. A public report link does not transfer rights in the service. An intellectual-property breach may lead to access restriction without compensation to the extent permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict, terminate, or refuse access for a breach, identified abuse, security threat, fraud, a binding legal or payment-provider requirement, service shutdown, or elevated risk to RustRecon, a provider, or a third party.
Restriction does not end obligations that arose before it. Where reasonably possible and safe, we will explain the reason and allow a breach to be corrected. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
The administration may amend these Terms. The current revision is always published here and applies from its stated date; material changes affecting current users will be highlighted in the service.
Continuing to use RustRecon after a revision takes effect means that you accept it. If you disagree, stop using the service. Questions may be sent directly to support on Telegram at @RustRecon.
